About the Project

What is Bible Blackboard?

“Bible Blackboard” is the name we chose for our blog page. The idea comes from the inspiration that if BCF is going to be starting a blog, it should be the simple, unbiased, and unaltered word of God educating us of an incredibly alive and active spiritual realm that not only affects but controls the physical reality that we are a part of. The Bible that we have in our possession today is the ultimate manual that Christ has left for us in order to live in a land not our own and to help finish building his kingdom as we wait for His return, because we know that as spiritual beings we are called to be sojourners in this world, and creatures of His Word.

So, look forward to a blog being posted on the last Saturday evening of every month of 2020.

Purpose?

For one,

we all can hopefully agree that there is obviously no such thing as too much of the Word. We don’t need it only for our church gatherings and family prayer sessions. We need it literally for every second of our lives to sustain us throughout the day, as we know that our enemy persists to lie in wait as a roaring lion to devour the weak in spirit. Consequently, we are to be always ready fully clothed in the armor of God, prepared for a battle at any given time, ready to strike the enemy on the onset of his attacks. Therefore, our sword given to us by our commander to fight our battles is the word of God, against which no enemy shall prevail.

Secondly,

as this is a monthly (as of now) meditative reading session inspired by the word of God, and not a sermon at a church setting, it is meant to be a completely private endeavor of time spent between you and the Lord. It is designed to be embarked on at your own pace, not to be rushed or overbearing. Additionally, once posted, all the content will be readily available and accessible to you as you have need.

Third,

every entry is ultimately aimed to be an inspired summation of the goodness of God on which we can meditate, thus, ultimately changing our lives drastically by continually fixing our eyes on Him, day by day. We were given instructions on how and what to think by the Apostle Paul himself when he said to focus on the true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and excellent things. Let us use this opportunity to truly dive into and replicate in our own lives the only individual who is worthy of honor and who this ministry is exclusively focused on: Jesus.

Lastly,

since this is a place where the inerrancy of what is being blogged is crucial, the informal style of blogging allows for a welcoming atmosphere for fellow believers to provide their feedback in order to correct any mistakes or misunderstandings that may unintentionally skew the meaning of Scripture. In writing these articles and in handling the Holy Scriptures to demonstrate the truths which lie therein, I do realize the gravity of the task I am taking on. Therefore, providing the right feedback is vital and humbly welcome especially since I myself am extremely new to this type of setting where there is an audience that I myself have to be accountable to God for. Also, as a mere writer, I do advice you to be wary of the disclaimer that I am certainly not someone who has the credentials to teach, but I am only relying on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to reveal itself to me. As we explore, have your Bible always open before you, and at all times, compare scripture with scripture and what is being read to the Word, itself. On my part, I have and will continually pray that God give me the grace and discretion to only direct you to the paths where God has made me walk myself. However, even with that in mind, Bible Blackboard would expect from the Reader your own participation to cultivate this field with the proper nourishment in order to allow more and more seeds to take root and bear pleasing fruits unto the Lord. So please, please feel free to provide the critical feedback with Godly discretion to help improve this journey that we are on together.

Conclusively, Pray the above posted prayer along with us to start off this adventure...
